LATIN AMERICA AND THE CARIBBEAN
OBJECTIVES:

Research & Knowledge
- Map regional DLDD priorities and document past lessons learned
- Host project formulation workshops to build skills in sustainable land management and proposal writing
- Document key achievements, success stories, and lessons during annual review

Outreach & Partnerships
- Reconnect with regional networks (e.g., Drynet) and build a shared contact list
- Launch a multi-platform awareness campaign (social media, radio, infographics)
- Mobilize youth and civil society through pledge campaigns and ongoing engagement

Advocacy & Policy
- Support stakeholders in preparing for and engaging at COP events
- Explore private sector collaboration on sustainable land practices
- Co-create a strategic roadmap for 2026 with stakeholder input
WHO CAN JOIN?
Any Members who are residing in the Latin American and Caribbean region, or who are from the area and currently live abroad and between 18 and 35 years of age.
