SUSTAINABLE LAND MANAGEMENT AND RESTORATION

OBJECTIVES:

Youth Mobilization & Policy Advocacy

  • Foster meaningful youth participation in decision-making, policy processes, dialogues, and action on SLM and restoration
  • Policy papers and youth position papers on SLM and restoration

Capacity Building & Knowledge Co-creation

  • Host capacity-building webinars on identified priorities
  • Support national youth leads and roll calls to strengthen local leadership, advocacy capacity, and peer exchange
  • Create and launch a toolkit for youth advocacy on land and soil

Storytelling & Visibility

  • Co-host side events in key policy spaces
  • Showcase youth-led initiatives in SLM and restoration
  • Launch youth-driven campaigns on SLM and restoration and related issues

WHO CAN JOIN?

Students, researchers, professionals in land, climate, farmers, restoration experts, entrepreneurs, sustainability innovators, Indigenous youth and knowledge holders – between 18 and 35 years of age.

Part of youth networks or just passionate about land restoration.
